GREECE YAY!

sunny 25 °C

So when we arrived in Santorini, we were met with the Toews, and we spent our time in Santorini, Rhodos, and Turkey with them. Here's the pics that made it into the Santorini album.

Corfu GREECE

At last! Heat!

sunny 35 °C

Moving on to Greece, we stayed in Corfu for 1 week, and mostly we just hung out at our pool, because it was screaming hot, therefore too hot to do much else!

Where we stayed.

Our awesome pool.

The "Old Fort" of Corfu. It was replaced hundreds of years ago making it the Old Fort.

London Dahling!

So here's some pics that made the cut for London :) Enjoy!

100_1356.jpg

On our first day, our B&B owner took us on a bike ride along the Thames River. ^

100_1358.jpg

The London Eye, of course!

100_1365.jpg

And again...

100_1384.jpg

And we're finally up there! It suuure looks high up!

Our super-cool 3D glasses baby!

100_1420.jpg

Christina Aguilara, at Mme. Tussauds, or is she real, and not wax? Some times it was hard to tell, because they would plant average Joe's taking pictures and stuff.

100_1419.jpg

Guess who!

100_1428.jpg

For the beetle lovers.

100_1429.jpg

Hmm... I forget who that is :)

100_1430.jpg

Couldn't leave without one of him (ugg).

100_1433.jpg

And Mme. Tussaude herself.

100_1456.jpg

The Buckingham Palace. Sadly, we weren't aloud to take pictures inside, so this will have to do (or try google search :)

100_1457.jpg

Aren't we cool :)

100_1469.jpg

London Bridges falling down...

100_1462.jpg

And, on our last day, we went to see Wicked the Musical, which was for sure a highlight of the trip. If you make your way to London, be sure to go!

So that's all I've got for London! Although, along with those things we did, we also went to the London Dungeons, but of course, no picture taking aloud. So I hope you've enjoyed the pictures! Megan

Iceland

overcast 10 °C

So, as you know, we spent 4 days in freezing cold Iceland.

100_1348.jpg

This was our little hostel where we stayed.

100_1094.jpg

This is what most of Iceland looks like.

100_1114.jpg

This was a great mural on the wall of a church in Iceland. It was the first Christian church in Iceland, so it symbolizes Christianity being brought there.

100_1265.jpg

This was another astonishingly large church in Reykjavic.

100_1166.jpg

The Golden falls.

100_1173.jpg

Don't worry, the rope sitting on the ground will keep you completely safe from falling off!

100_1198.jpg

Awesome hats- sure wish I would have bought one!!

100_1213.jpg

A geyser we saw.

100_1215

100_1215

Their Prime Minister's house.

100_1219.jpg

Their Flag. Look how windy it was!

100_1229.jpg

The gorgeous waters of the Blue Lagoon. Our first of 5 blue lagoons, so far.

100_1225.jpg

The drowning pool, where they would drown women who were "witches". But only women were killed there-the men were beheaded-because apparently, it was a death, "less harsh". How kind of them to think of the women they were killing (and personally, I think it's worse to be drowned).

Playing dress up at a museum....

What good times in Iceland. :)
