Iceland

10 °C
So, as you know, we spent 4 days in freezing cold Iceland.

This was our little hostel where we stayed.

This is what most of Iceland looks like.

This was a great mural on the wall of a church in Iceland. It was the first Christian church in Iceland, so it symbolizes Christianity being brought there.

This was another astonishingly large church in Reykjavic.

The Golden falls.

Don't worry, the rope sitting on the ground will keep you completely safe from falling off!

Awesome hats- sure wish I would have bought one!!

A geyser we saw.

Their Prime Minister's house.

Their Flag. Look how windy it was!

The gorgeous waters of the Blue Lagoon. Our first of 5 blue lagoons, so far.

The drowning pool, where they would drown women who were "witches". But only women were killed there-the men were beheaded-because apparently, it was a death, "less harsh". How kind of them to think of the women they were killing (and personally, I think it's worse to be drowned).

Playing dress up at a museum....
What good times in Iceland. ![]()
